This Privacy Policy describes how Sparkpark LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Minty Orange (“Service”).

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

Content You Submit

When you use the Service, we collect:

• Article text you submit for optimization

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the Service
• Process your article optimizations
• Manage your account and subscription

AI Processing

To optimize your articles, we send your submitted content to third-party AI providers:

• Anthropic (Claude) is our main AI engine. It processes your article text and target keywords to generate optimizations.
• OpenAI serves as a backup engine when the main engine is unavailable, and handles supporting tasks such as content analysis. It may process the same content.

If you use citation tracking, we also send search queries based on your target keywords to Perplexity, OpenAI (ChatGPT), and SerpAPI to check whether your site appears in AI answers and Google results. Your article text is not shared for these checks, and the match against your domain happens on our servers.

We do not train AI models on your content. Anthropic and OpenAI do not use data submitted through our Service for model training.

The help assistant (the chat bubble on our pages) uses Anthropic's API (Claude) to answer your questions. Messages you send to the help assistant are stored, together with your account if you are logged in, so we can improve the Service and its answers. They are not used to train AI models.

Google Account Data (Search Console and Analytics)

If you connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics, you give us read-only access to the data for the site you select. We never receive write access, so we cannot change anything in your Google account or on your site.

What we read and store

• From Search Console: the search queries your pages appear for, plus clicks, impressions and average position per URL. We store these figures so we can show you trends over time.
• From Google Analytics: visit counts per channel and per landing page, including visits that arrive from AI assistants. We store totals only, never records about individual visitors.
• The access tokens Google issues us, so we can refresh your figures in the background about once a week and whenever you click Refresh.

What we do with it

We use this data only to power features you can see in your own account: your traffic overview, keyword opportunities, the channel breakdown, and the per-article numbers in your clusters.

One case involves an AI provider, and we want to be explicit about it. When you run an AI visibility audit, we send up to 30 of your highest-impression search queries from Search Console to Anthropic (Claude), so it can derive the questions we then test your site against. No other Google data leaves our servers for AI processing, and none of it is used to train AI models.

What we never do with it

• We do not sell or rent your Google data.
• We do not use it for advertising or ad targeting.
• We do not use it to train AI models.
• We do not share it with any third party other than the AI provider named above.

Withdrawing access

You can disconnect either service at any time on the Insights page in your account. You can also revoke our access directly in your Google account settings, under the list of connected apps. Once disconnected, we stop refreshing your figures, and you can ask us to delete the stored figures at any time.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Google (Search Console and Analytics, when you connect them, for reading your own site data)

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Optimization history is retained for the duration of your subscription and for 90 days after cancellation, unless you request earlier deletion.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
• Encrypted password storage
• Regular security assessments
• Access controls and authentication

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you

• Request deletion of your information

• Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

For users in the European Union, we process your data based on:

• Contractual necessity (to provide the Service)
• Legitimate interests (to improve and secure the Service)

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
